Full-service plan for a college admission essay includes the following:
- Brainstorming/ Outlining
- First draft (getting the story down on paper/ establishing conflict)
- Second draft (refining conflict, shaping the essay by restructuring, developing voice, controlling pacing, establishing tone, narrowing the focus: camera lens approach, pruning)
- Third draft (issues of style, use of literary devices)
- Polish (grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation)
Emails for support in between these steps are included in the cost; however, calls from frantic parents in the wee hours of the morning will result in a hefty surcharge.
Scholarship essays: cost varies
